Got this gun for Christmas and it has yet to let me down.

Nearly everything on this AEG is plastic, but there is a metal barrel covered by the plastic barrel cover and plastic shrouds, which are standard airsoft size. My recommendation is that you don't drop it from more than 7 feet, and protect it if you trip. IT is however, super light weight, and you can easily one hand it for an entire game day. It's fairly accurate, but you have to dial in the Hop up and sights, when I got the MCCM4 they were maxed. With the rate of fire of around 4-6 bb's per second you are sure to keep fire on target without burning through ammo. definitely a great buy for the price point. If you are just starting out, Get this Airsoft gun, it's already colored, and isn't gravity fed like a lot f aeg's at this pricepoint. IF you enjoy airsofting and just want more out of your gun, you should upgrade to something a bit more expensive and high quality, but by no means do you have to. an internals and motor swap will cost you about as much as the gun though, but that's not so bad for not paying a lot to begin with. This AEG is powered by an average battery that can last for about 5,000 rounds fired on automatic, but less on semi. 2 things I like most are the paintjob (USMC, Oorah!) and the trigger guard. the 2 things I like the least is that it's all plastic, I wish the receivers and barrel cover were metal, and also I wish the stock was more of the M4 and not a CAR style stock. Certainly an Excellent choice, and easy to upgrade.

Cannot purchase online, went to local academy store to purchase, only to find the SP01, SS01, M4 Mini, ER02, and the two battle and task force kits, not even the SPO2 was in stock! Very distrought that this is the rifle I wanted but could not find, very good gun, I just cant get it!

The cm4 is a great gun. I like power of the gun it very powerful and hard hitting. It's sights are good when you get it out of the box but if your an airsoft freak you can put a red dot sight on the gun. The firing rate of this gun is awesome and it has a great stock on it. The only thing thats bad about it is that the battery is hard to put in. Overall this is a great gun

This gun never let me down

I have it it holds up well and has a very good fps but you need to remember to charge it before going in a battle.

I have had this gun for about a year and a half it kicks a** all my friends say it hurts and it holds up well I play in woods with lots of sand and it has yet to break also VERY ACCURATE!!

I just got done using the CM4 for my first time at an arena, and I was really happy with performance. It did better than I had expected! It proved well in a cqb wherehouse setting. I never had to switch to my side arm because of the 300 round clip, I went 3-4 quick rounds before having to reload. It only had trouble cycling through ammo once or twice the entire time. Other than that the action was smooth and I liked the fire rate. It was fast enough to engage targets but didn't waste ammo. The semi auto was great for picking off targets a little farther away. I think aming down the standard sight was good enough, you don't need to buy some expensive sight or scope. I am an amutuer at airsoft and this is my first professional grade gun. I was doing as well as most others with the cm4. If you're looking to step up your game and bring it to the next level get the CM4!

this gun has the capability to be a close quarter weapon on the side of it also having good range. its unlike alot of aeg's not being gravity feed. and the 300 round clip makes it optical for the most proficient game even for the newest airsoft players.

an excellent gun, great fps but the battery is hard to put in

This gun is amazing it shoots very fast on semi and automatic, It's very powerful, I shot a target from 35 yards away! (and that's not a lie I measured it after I shot the target.)
